This arrangement features the phenomenal, Myron Walden on the Tenor Sax who so eloquently plays musical tribute to Shorter in his intentional Shortertonian style as well as the timbres and sounds Myron emits through his saxophone during his fire solo. This arrangement requires a strong solo tenor saxophonist who is both willing to play expressively and perhaps even evocatively.

DESCRIPTION
Recorded on "Like A Tree It Grows", Speak No Evil is RBB's most sought after arrangement by multiple college's, universities and conservatories! The album and song, Speak No Evil by the late Wayne Shorter has always been a part of the soundtrack of my life. Shorter displays his unique harmonic style with extreme swagger, emotion and elegance. 
I had a lot of fun arranging this timeless song because it really does get my creativity flowing as displayed on the horns only intro. Part of the structure of this arrangement in particular is inspired by the reknowned music theory book, "Inside the Score" by Rayburn Wright.
This arrangement requires a strong lead trumpet player as well as a creative drummer thats fluid in both Jazz and Hip-Hop to be authentically effective. Works well for either upright or electric bass. Pianist has solo ad lib fills during the melody a la Herbie Hancock on the original recording.
